Finding Access Database Templates

Access Database templates available since 2007 provides for an easy to use and time-saving option for both beginners and advance users. Creating and setting up applications are made easier using this kind of template. Here is how to use Access Database Templates.

Open the application Access 2007 by selecting the “File” menu located in the main menu bar. Select “New” option on the tab. A “New File” pane will appear on the right side of the “Access” window. Locate the template categories afterwards.

Select the “Local Templates” option to bring up a template that is pre-installed on your computer. Choose from the screen of available templates on which one you intend to use. When a template is selected, click the “Create” button to start creating the database with the selected local template.

To seek for more options when it comes to available templates, you can check online services of Microsoft. Click the “From Microsoft Online”. A list of template categories will appear under the “Microsoft Online” category. Browse on the different Access Database templates that were arranged according to their respective categories.

After selecting the templates determine the arrangement for it. Additional information about the template is provided which include the use of the template, its size, the time allotted for downloading and even some user ratings. Don’t worry about creating a name or finding an appropriate saving location for the template, the Access 2007 will take care of that. Just click the “Download” button to download at the same time install the Access Database Template.

A “File New Database” would appear, allowing you to enter a File Name over the default name provided by Access 2007. The “Save In” option will also allow you to save it on the location you like.

Access Database Templates are made available for the user’s preference. Aside from the pre-installed local templates, online templates are also made available for download.
